 Interested in acting, performing and having fun with friends?  This year ESDH is bringing back our Improv Team.  Improv is a form of theatre games that involve energy and team work.  There is a meeting next Thursday at lunch in the Yoga room for all interested students in all grades.

 Aboriginal Youth in grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply for the 7th Annual Nova Scotia Aboriginal Youth Skilled Trades Fair.  All cost (meals, hotel and transportation) will be covered.  Please see Ms Mullen for more information or go to http://www.kinu.ca

 On Monday September 30th, wear an orange shirt to honor the Indigenous children who were sent away to Residential Schools in Canada and to learn more about the history of those schools.  For more information visit www.orangeshirtday.net or speak with Ms Mullen.

 Parking is reserved for Staff AND grade 12 students-only who have been given a parking pass confirming their forms where completed in full.  Please ensure that if you are being dropped off, that you remind your parents/guardians to use the drop off loop in the morning and afternoon.  There are 2 visitor parking spots for parents who may be at school for a meeting.  Parents may use the bus loop if after 9:05 and prior to 2:45 but no other times as it interferes with buses and then becomes a safety issue.  We have 2 accessibility spots that are ONLY to be used for families of our students with accessibility needs OR for a parent who requires that access to in order to park and enter the building.  Some family vehicles may have a permit but use of our limited spots is intended for our students and visitors in need of that accessibility to enter/exit our school with dignity.  Any Grade 11 students or students without a parking pass displayed are not permitted in our parking lot.  Tickets will be issued for those disrespecting this expectation.

 Today at 3:30 there is a meeting and 3km run for the cross country team.  Please meet your coach in the foyer.

 The first yearbook meeting of the year will happen on Thursday, Sept 19 in Ms Tonen's room (Room 227) at the lunch bell.  All grades welcome!
