 The Mi'kmaq flag raising and smudge to celebrate Mi'kmaq History Month has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 12:30. All are welcome.  Permission forms are required for those who wish to participate in the actual smudging.

 The boys soccer team had a great win over Armbrae, last night,  and finished with a 6 - 1 win!  This is their 3rd consecutive win!  Goals were scored by Tyler Milne, Mitchell Peskett, Brayden Ball and Caelan Goulding .  Assisted by Brent Stevens, Mitchell Peskett and Liam Higginbotham.   The entire team played very well!

 The Girls Volleyball game on Thursday, Oct 10th is now starting at 6 rather than 5. That is 6 pm not 5. Yearbooks are currently on sale online - see our school's website for the link.  Personalization icons are free if you order online by Oct 26.  Yearbooks will also be on sale in the lobby at lunch all next week.  Cost is $40 and you can pay by cash or check.  If you don't order a yearbook, you don't get one....to avoid disappointment in June, order yours now!

 The 3rd cross-country meet will happen on Wednesday as well. Runners will be excused from  classes at 2:50.

 Attention all artistic types!  How would you like to have your art published on the COVER of a book?  The Yearbook Cover Contest is now open.  What do you think would look great on the cover of our yearbook this year?  Your artwork needs to be submitted to Ms Tonen by the end of October.

 IWK Health Centre will be hosting its eleventh annual Health Care Career Day on Wednesday November 6, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Gallery at the IWK Health Centre.  Please see the poster on the guidance bulletin board for information.

 There will be today meeting Tuesday at lunch for any students interested in We Schools and We Day in room 108. You must attend this meeting to pick up an application and get the details as this year We Day will have some differences.
