The 2020 North American Indigenous Games will be held in Kjipuktuk (ji-buk-tuk) (Halifax).  The NAIG is holding a Medal Design Contest and is reaching out to all students to submit designs. The theme is "Games Played, Friends Made, Culture Shared".  If you are interested please go to Ms. Mullen's website (connected to the ESDH/DMHS web pages) and download a copy of the information package.  Or visit Ms Mullen to pick up a copy of the form.  The deadline is Friday December 20th.
Today, both basketball teams play at home. Girls play Island View at 4:30 while the boys team takes on Lockview at 7 PM . Come out and support our Schoones!  If anything changes we will announce it by the end of school.
Reminder tomorrow is Santa Hat Day, pictures with Santa at lunch.

Friday is the talent show! Student council will be selling popcorn, gatorade and juice so bring some change!
GSA and Peer Health meetings are postponed this week. Instead we will be having our wrap up Christmas celebration on Friday at lunch/ Please let Connie know if you are attending. We need numbers for food orders. The breakfast program folks are included in the celebration as well.
Pencil Pack is meeting today. Enjoy writing? Entering writing  contests? Writing for Scholarships? Like drawing? Calligraphy? Everyone is welcome.  See what it’s about room 205 at lunch.
Ken Kennedy was our big winner of the lobster draw, winning ticket sold by Aidan Sampson! Thank you to all that sold tickets to raise money for prom!
