Did you know…. The Youth Health Centre is open this year and we are looking for youth to join our awesome groups.

1. Youth Health/Action Team: A youth led group that does  health promotion activities in all aspects of health including, but not limited to  events such; as mental and emotion health awareness and education campaigns, sexual assault awareness campaigns, resources on where to get help when you need it or a friend does, health information and displays throughout the school, making lunch together and welcoming peers to join us for a chat  etc. This is a fun, interactive group and the group decides what they want to do each year.  Come see Connie for further information.

2. Gender Sexuality Alliance: This group is a social activists group. Some of the activities we have done in the past are: ESDH pride walk, presentation in our school and in our feeder schools, anti homophobia and heterosexism day, events at ESDH, movie nights, etc.  Please let Connie know if your interested!

We are also open to forming new groups as well so if you have ideas please come by for a chat at the Youth Health Centre.  Looking forward to seeing you!!!
