Graduation Information - April 15, 2021

Graduation Ceremony Details

The recent announcement from Public Health has provided us with some parameters to begin planning a graduation ceremony – the format will depend on Public Health protocols and the indications for gathering limits in June.  The tentative plan is to hold individual appointments for students to cross the stage in front of ten of their family members.  We are planning for June 23, 24 and 25rd.  In early May, each graduate and their parent/guardian will be emailed their date a time slot for their appointment. Please know that our staff will do everything possible to ensure the ceremony is a memorable event and one that recognizes the accomplishments of all grads, even if the event can’t be in a traditional format.

The ESDH School Advisory Council has offered to support grad fees.   We will be ordering graduation gowns, sashes, caps and tassels for graduates to keep.  We require sizing and need every graduate to complete the following form by  Friday, April 23rd .

Community Prom Information

The Public Health announcement also indicated that schools are not allowed to hold proms.  Fortunately there is a dedicated group of parents and community who are hoping to put on a prom.  To do so, they need every grad to complete this form so they can get a good idea of numbers.
