Dalhousie University will be hosting a Computer Science Preview Day on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 9am to 2 pm.   This is a full-day, free event for prospective students.  It is a great opportunity for you to try out some of our classes and find out what life is like in the Faculty of Computer Science The day also includes lunch at a residence dining hall and a campus tour.  See Ms. Smith’s website, Twitter, or in person for more information on how to register.

The Canadian Coast Guard is currently recruiting for the position of Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS) officer.  In the Atlantic region, we have 5 Coast Guard stations.  Two require bilingualism to apply.  Aptitude tests are required for application.  The Dartmouth test date is March 2nd.   All are welcome to attend. The Musquodoboit Harbour Public Library is looking for 1 full time and 2 part time volunteers for the Leading Readers Program. The program pairs elementary aged children with high school volunteers to read together and play literacy based games once a week. It runs for 10 weeks on Wednesdays afterschool until 5pm. If you are interested in this position, please contact Mary from the library via email or text before Wednesday.   Contact information is in the office.
