LUNCH  SPECIAL:

 Welcome Week begins today.  Mascots tryouts in the gym, come and watch.

 Tomorrow is the Root Beer Mile and wear your crazy hats or sunglasses.

 Thursday next week is Schooner Day so wear blue and yellow.  There will be Shore trivia in the cafeteria at lunch.

 Next Friday is the BBQ and Twin Day. 

 The Spirit Store will be open today and all week.  SPC cards are on sale.  First Council meeting is on Tuesday at lunch in Ms. Watson’s Room 204.

  Boys Soccer tryouts are today after school from 3:30 – 5:30pm

 There will be a meeting today in Room 225for any girls interested in playing hockey.

 Any students competing in cross country, please see Ms. Wilson in Room 203 for a brief 5 minute stand-up meeting at the beginning of lunch.

 The boys hockey tryouts signup list is posted for anyone trying out.

 Volleyball tryouts are on Monday from 6:30 -8:30pm and Tuesday at 7:00-8:50am

 The nurse practioner is here on Wednesdays from 12 – 3.

 All band students in Grades 11-12 are reminded that morning rehearsals start this Friday at 7:45 am.

 Boys’ baseball is starting.  First tryout is Sunday, September 15, 6:00p.m. at Cheviot Hill.  Second tryout is Tuesday, September 17 at Bennett’s field at 5:30 or 6:00 p.m.  Listen for Monday’s announcements and check the school’s web page for sports team updates.

 Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) meeting on Wednesday, September 18th.  This is a fun advocacy group.  Everyone welcome.

 Health Promotion Team meeting on Friday, September 20th.  Come check out all the fun promotion, activities and events.  Some of the things we did last year were:  Mental Health Week, made and served healthy food, clothing drive, Stuff-A-Bus, etc
