Grade 12’s - The annual lobster ticket sale is here for prom - they will be available in the lobby during the first 20 minutes of lunch. Make sure to grab your booklets!

Attention grade 12 graduating class! ESDH is beginning the class of 2023 Valedictorian selection process! This is a great honour to commemorate the journey you and your classmates took to reach graduation and to address our entire school community! It is something that is sure to make your family proud for years to come. If you are interested in giving an interesting, clever, funny, and moving speech to your graduating class, families, and school staff, please write a 5-10 minute speech.  We are asking that you present your speech to the best of your abilities on video. Feel free to use a phone. Please see Mr. Stoffman for tips, guidance, and the scoring rubric as early as possible. Please share your best version with hstoffman@gnspes.ca by Monday May 1st. If you have any questions or need help, please do not hesitate to ask!

Student Council Announcements:

On April 27, we are planning a Spring Dance.  This is a reminder that in order to be permitted to attend, students must be in good standing with all of their courses.  Students not passing at least half of their courses are not eligible to attend

Band Announcements:

A reminder to all band students to bring in your festival forms and payments to Ms. Penwell as soon as possible.

There will be a sectional for Parts 3 and 4 for Energy tomorrow at lunch. We will start right away, please come at the bell.

There will be a sectional for Part 2 of Energy Thursday at lunch.

Jazz Band will not rehearse this Friday morning.

A reminder to all band students that the coffee fundraiser is happening and forms and money are due next week.

The boys rugby team had an impressive 44-5 win over Islandview last week. Tries were scored by Cohen Conrad with one try, Ryan MacLeod & Braxton Atuanya each had two and Jackson Murphy had three!
