Our annual Pride walk will take place next Wednesday, May 17th at lunch. We will meet at the main entrance of the school, walk to the Musquodoboit Harbour Library and return to ESDH. Refreshments upon return in the Youth Health Centre. Please see Connie for details, questions or concerns.

Mascot showdown tickets will be on sale today and Friday for $10 each! It is a fun school spirit event where you get to cheer on your fellow Schoons and the Mascot in a friendly competition against other schools. Keep an eye out for posters around the school for more info! See Ms. Watson in room 204 if you have any questions.

Guidance Announcements:

Local ESDH scholarships and bursaries have been updated on Ms d’Entremont’s website. Deadlines are from May 26 until June 15. They are given based on where you live, financial need, programs you will attend, service in the community, family ties and some are based on grades.

Athletic Announcements:

The girls rugby team took a giant win yesterday against Sackville High and will be advancing into regionals. The final score was 52-5!!!! Graice Jakeman scored a beautiful try, Natalie Baker had a total of 20 points with 4 trys and Peyton Sampson had 27 points. We congratulate everyone on the team and wish you all the best of luck in regionals!!
