The YWCA’s Youth Advisory Council is looking for new council members. The council aims to empower youth to create social change. Council members will receive a $100 honorarium per month. Please see Ellen in the SchoolsPlus room for more info.

Student Council Announcements:

School Liaison Dawn Gardiner is available in office 2 today if you require assistance with Career Exploration, a resume, cover letter or interview prep. Feel free to stop by and make an appointment.

Band Announcements:

A reminder to band students to get your hoodie form in by Thursday.

Any band student wanting to participate in the gift card raffle to get your cards to Ms Penwell by Thursday.

Jazz band will rehearse Friday at 8am

Musical Theatre will rehearse today afterschool until 4:30pm

Grade 11 and 12 Band will rehearse Thursday at lunch.

Athletic Announcements:

Amazing win by the Schoons Volleyball team last night 3-2 with some real nail biter action. Amazing plays by Jenelle Sabherwal, some crazy hits by Lexi Parker and Kelly Ryan and some amazing saves made by Nora MacKinnon and Aerianna Sanderson, and of course we wouldn’t have been able to have done it without the beautiful sets made by Hailey Fredricks. Let's go Schoons and keep up the great communication.
