General Announcements:

There will be an open condition camp session from 7-9 this evening at OPA for anyone who would be interested in playing baseball with the Eastern Shore Lakers this summer. 

The Social Justice groups is hosting- “Re-think your drink” today in the lobby. Come check it out and have some cucumber water and citrus water.

Attention grade 12 graduating class! ESDH is moving forward  with the class of 2024 Valedictorian selection process! This is a great honour to commemorate the journey you and your classmates took to reach graduation and to address our entire school community! It is something that is sure to make your family proud for years to come. If you are interested in giving an interesting, clever, funny, and moving speech to your graduating class, families, and school staff, please write a 5-10 minute speech. We are asking that you present your speech to the best of your abilities on video. Feel free to use a phone. Please see Mr. Stoffman for tips, guidance, and the scoring rubric as early as possible. Please share your best version with hstoffman@gnspes.ca by April 30th. If you have any questions or need help, please do not hesitate to ask!

There is a nice Calvin Kline winter jacket that was found yesterday.   It’s in the office.  Please come and claim it if it's yours.

Student Council Announcements:

Easter Week starts next monday with Socks, Crocs and Birkenstocks Day and there will be Karaoke in the Cafeteria. Tuesday is Schoons Day, wear yellow and blue and any Schoons merch! There is also basketball in the gym at lunch. Sign up for teacher-student basketball is outside the office now! On Wednesday there will be Easter Bingo in the Cafeteria at lunch and it is Bunny Ear and Bunny Hugs Day! (Bunny Hugs are Hoodies) Lastly next Thursday will conclude Easter Week with a QR Easter Egg Hunt at lunch throughout the school and it is also Pastel Colours Day!
 

Guidance Announcements:

Grade 10/11 students : Be sure to be able to sign into your PowerSchool accounts by the end of the month. Course selection will begin in April and you will need to login to select your courses.
A reminder for grade 10/11 students to give Ms d’Entremont your course selection sheets and credit checks by the end of the month.
