General Announcements:

Grad Photo Retakes - Retakes are Mar 2nd and 3rd. You are able to book your appointment time through our website and click on the Grad Photo Session Booking under the What’s New.  You can also book if you didn’t have your pictures done in the first sitting. 

Grad Quotes are due THIS FRIDAY - February 5th!! Check your gnspes for the google form that was sent out a little while ago.

Students who took English 12 first semester with Ms. Marchand or Ms. Sanford: if anyone would like to take their Student Profile with their polaroid home, please check in with Ms. Marchand by Friday, February 5th in Room 110.

Guidance Announcements:

Any student still looking to have a course change can fill out a form in the office.

Grade 12 students planning to attend university (who have yet to apply) should make their applications before March 1st to ensure they are automatically considered for entrance scholarships  Applications can be made online for most institutions.

Many post-secondary institutions are having virtual open houses through February. Make sure you visit university websites of your choice to learn about the timing of upcoming virtual open houses.

Dalhousie University is offering their Annual Women in Tech Day on Tuesday, February 16th. Female-identifying and non-binary high school students are invited to attend. This event will happen virtually and introduce students to the possibilities offered through a career in technology. You will hear from current students, faculty and industry partners. Registration is required and forms can be obtained from Ms. Greenough.

Athletic Announcements:

Boys Hockey Practice - Friday from 4:30 to 6PM
Rugby Tryouts Next Week! Check the athletics board in the lobby for times running from Tuesday to Friday - both boys and girls! - just show up with gear and water!

Staying Safe & Healthy as a Community is EVERYONE’s Responsibility
Practice physical distancing when outside and in areas that you can
Avoid bunching together (inside or out)
Wear a non-medical mask when you can’t physically distance
No matter where you are please practice the above.  Especially when you are off school property at lunchtime or during a study/free period. Concerned community members are worried about you and contacting the school to remind our Schoons that in the community your choices impact us all!.
