Eastern Shore District High School

April 9th, 2019

Please be advised that any students not eligible to attend the dance have been met with by administration.  We look forward to a successful dance with students following expected behaviours.  Student cooperation is imperative for extra-curricular to happen.   Thank you in advance for your support and appreciation for our volunteers.  Guest forms are available at the main office.  They must be returned by Wednesday.

Anyone interested in participating in track and field are asked to see Ms. Stevens.

Attention grade 12s:
Are you interested in winning three thousand dollars cash by being valedictorian? Well, you can't. But now that we have your attention: all grade 12s are eligible to apply for the role of valedictorian. It is a huge honour and looks great on a resume. If you are interested, please start writing your speech. Please see Mr. Stoffman if you need help or have any questions. Auditions will be taking place in a couple of weeks.

Please check the “Lost and Found” outside the Youth Health Centre.  The items are growing and all items will be donated on April 14.

Nova Scotia Virtual School registration is now open for next year.  Please visit the virtual school website or see Ms. Smith for more information if you are interested.

Congratulations to Lauren Johnson and Niko Wilson Henkelmann for being our Lieutenant Governor Award recipients this year.  We had many awesome Grade 11’s to choose from who are leaders within our school, community and academics.  We are proud of all of our short-listed Lieutenant Governor award candidates.
