Thank you to all those who have been trying to be good neighbours with their garbage.  There was a reported decrease this year for the annual clean-up but we encourage all schoons to put litter in its rightful place and keep our community beautiful.

The Awtiget  (pronounced aw-ti-get)  Indigenous Student Mini-University Camp will give students a taste of University life.  The camp will run from May 24-May 26th.  Students will experience academic, physical, creative, cultural and social activities.  Open to all Indigenous Students Grades 8-11.  Register by April 26 at 4pm.  Email Arthur.Stevens@dal.ca or see Ms Mullen for more information.

Mount Saint Vincent University will host a camp for Aboriginal Students from Friday, May 10-Sunday, May 12th.  This camp will offer Aboriginal students an opportunity to experience first hand the services, courses and activities that are available to Mount students.  Deadlines to apply is Friday, May 3rd.  Send completed applications to Veronica.Gore@msvu.ca.  Applications can be found on the table outside of the guidance office or ask Ms Mullen.
