 Improv Meeting at lunch and afterschool on Thursday in the Yoga Room .  All are welcome.

 Aboriginal Youth in grades 9-12 are encouraged to apply for the 7th Annual Nova Scotia Aboriginal Youth Skilled Trades Fair.  All cost (meals, hotel and transportation) will be covered.  Please see Ms. Mullen for more information or go to http://www.kinu.ca

 On Monday September 30th, wear an orange shirt to honor the Indigenous children who were sent away to Residential Schools in Canada and to learn more about the history of those schools.  For more information visit www.orangeshirtday.net or speak with Ms Mullen.

 It's time for PROM SEASON. Any students who are interested in helping with the 2020 Prom are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in room 208. Students do not have to help with everything. We will be looking for people who can paint, cut and glue. Just stop by to let us know you are interested.  We will be starting with the theme so don't miss these early meetings.  Make YOUR prom the best one yet by helping and having fun with Ms. Evans and Ms. George.

 Attention Grade 12 Students!
Reminder: the AARAO tour will be visiting ESDH on Monday, September 30th from 9-11:30 in the gym. Pick up a list from Guidance if you are curious who will be in attendance or want to plan ahead of time.

 Post-Secondary open house season will soon begin.  Grade 12 students who are planning on attending university and college open houses are reminded they need a transcript with them for early admission. Please fill out the transcript request form in the office ASAP if you know you are planning on applying to schools in the next month or so.  This will give us time to have them all ready for you!

 Do you enjoy working with Children? Are you interested in being a volunteer in your community? The Leading Readers Program at the Musquodoboit Harbour Library is looking for volunteers to meet every Wednesday afterschool at the library, to read together and play literacy-based games with elementary-aged children. You will receive training and leadership opportunities over the ten week program, as well as a reference to use for future jobs and scholarship applications. If you would like to volunteer for Leading Readers, please fill out an application, which can be found at the office or you can access it on the halifaxpubliclibraries.ca website or drop in to the Musquodoboit Harbour library to pick one up and drop off completed forms by Friday, September 27th. (The program starts October 2nd and runs until December 4th.
