 Welcome week is continuing this week, Wednesday.  Wear the school colours (blue and yellow) and there will be Shore Trivia in the caf!  Thursday is picture day so remember to look your best.  Friday is twin day and BBQ at lunch.

 Tomorrow is the first Student Council meeting at lunch in Ms. Watson’s Room 204.

 Volleyball tryouts are today from 6:30 -8:30pm and Tuesday at 7:00-8:50am

 The nurse practioner is here on Wednesdays from 12 – 3.

 Boys’ baseball second tryout is Tuesday, September 17 at Bennett’s field at 6:00 p.m. 

 Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) meeting on Wednesday, September 18th.  This is a fun advocacy group.  Everyone welcome.

 Health Promotion Team meeting on Friday, September 20th.  Come check out all the fun promotion, activities and events.  Some of the things we did last year were:  Mental Health Week, made and served healthy food, clothing drive, Stuff-A-Bus, etc

 Interested in acting, performing and having fun with friends?  This year ESDH is bringing back our Improv Team.  Improv is a form of theatre games that involve energy and teamnwork.  There is a meeting next Thursday at lunch in the Yoga room for all interested students in all grades.

 Attention Grade 12 students who are interested in applying for the LORAN Scholars Foundation scholarship.  Please note there will be a brief meeting today at the beginning of lunch in the Guidance office.  This is a large scholarship that requires a bit of planning and time to complete the application.  The deadline is in October so starting early is important for this one. Any questions, see Ms. Smith in Guidance.

 Anyone interested in boys hockey this year has been asked to attend a lunchtime session in Room 225 on Tuesday  where you will meet coaches and schedule tryouts.  All players must attend.

 Grade 12 students with Study Block on D are reminded to pick up their credit check forms from Ms. Smith.
